Senior Manager Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) Europe (gn)

Our client, a global leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a Senior Manager Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) Europe (gn) to join their dynamic team next to Darmstadt. As a key member of the supply chain leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment between demand and supply. In this highly visible position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic S&OP processes, managing cross-functional teams, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer needs while maximizing profitability.


YOUR ROLE:

  • Lead demand, supply, and order management within the organization
  • Optional: Lead an order management team, fostering collaboration and excellence
  • Create S&OP reporting and processes for Finance, Sales, Product, and Supply Chain
  • Create forward-rolling demand, sales, and purchase forecasts
  • Monitor KPIs, implement process enhancements, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Proactively manage and optimize inventory
  • Develop and lead a robust inventory management process
  • Optimize and maintain BI and Forecasting tools
  • Leverage technology solutions for supply chain visibility and efficiency
  • Coordinate and collaborate on logistics, supply chain, logistics service provider management, and finance/controlling projects


YOUR STRENGTHS:

  • Business administration or technical degree, comparable qualification, e.g. with a focus on supply chain
  • Several years’ experience in demand planning/forecasting, supply chain or related analytical field
  • Ideally first direct management experience
  • Strong SAP MM/SD (S/4HANA) and MS Excel knowledge
  • First experience with BI tools like Qlik is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication skills in an international environment
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
