We are currently looking for a Community Diagnostics Sales Manager Germany (m/f/d) to join our Sales team in Germany. In this position be responsible for a dedicated group of customers across Germany. This is a field-based position with home office and frequent travel across the dedicated territory of responsibility.
As part of this team, you will be responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Achieve sales goals and developing the current market
Be responsible for managing and growing business in existing and new Cepheid accounts
Develop Community Testing accounts with broad range of assay menu
Sell additional appropriate instrumentation to customers in the community
Introduce and develop new testing in Point of care settings
Subject matter expert in one key community segment
Manage customer data in SFDC
Work closely with Field Application Specialists, Virtual Sales, Marketing, MedSci and GAMA
Develop and delivers presentations and proposals
Host and assist with community setting congresses and local meetings
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
Scientific background – Biology/Pharmacy- Microbiology knowledge
German and advanced English required
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
Sales experience and Customer Focus
Experience of working with customers in community settings
Negotiation Skills
Team Working
