The clearing house provides fully automated post-trade services for derivatives, equities, bonds and secured funding & financing as well as industry-leading risk management technologies.
We run Deutsche Börse Group’s central treasury function. We support the Group’s growth strategy by providing liquidity to the business and funding the financing needs arising from strategic transactions. By ensuring an efficient capital structure, we create value. We also manage foreign exchange and interest rate risks, ensure that the Group’s pension plan assets (CTA) are prudently managed and foster the Group’s relationships with rating agencies.
Your area of work As an intern (f/m/d) you will support Treasury Frankfurt team which is responsible for daily liquidity management of Eurex Clearing and other subsidiaries of Deutsche Börse Group. You will support the daily monitoring and reporting activities and will be actively involved in new projects/initiatives and interact with different stakeholders. You will acquire a deep understanding of liquidity management of the corporate and the clearing house.
Your responsibilities:
You will assist Treasury team in day to day operations (e.g. liquidity management, investments, etc.)
You will gain interesting insights in financial markets and liquidity risk management
You will support Treasury team during business acceptance testing (CBPR+, Digital EUR, etc.) You are jointly responsible for daily and monthly reporting and monitor our KPIs
You are involved in new product initiatives and projects
Your profile:
You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student (Study focus in the field of economics, business studies, informatics, or other relevant fields)
You are passionate about financial markets and treasury management
Digitization and new technologies excite you. SAP S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage
You are fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
