Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Participate and contribute to national and international accounting projects
•Work with various cross-functional stakeholders, particularly with tax, legal, finance teams to maintain efficient and compliant accounting and reporting processes, and effective controls
•Identify incomplete or inaccurate data, research the root cause and create/implement an escalation plan
•Collaborate and build relationships with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and the highest degree of controllership
•Actively contribute to improvement initiatives, standardization, optimizations of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices
•Document accounting conclusions with respect to accounting treatment of economic events
•Manage, participate and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books according to US-GAAP and local GAAPs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- University degree in Business or Accounting
- US-GAAP or IFRS knowledge
- First years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm or a multinational matrix organization / environment
- Fluent English skills
- Relevant experience working with Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Background in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in building financial and operational reports that inform business decision-making
- Demonstrating project management abilities and strong understanding of financial accounting systems
- Relevant practice working with reporting and data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
