Torg is where retail & wholesale buyers find and connect with 100,000+ verified food & beverage manufacturers across private label and foodservice categories in Europe.

Our founders are experienced business and product leaders from major e-commerce players across Europe including Zalando, Delivery Hero, and Just Eat/Takeaway and we are backed by Atlantic Food Labs, Berlin's leading food tech accelerator. Since we went live in Q4 2022, we've seen high adoption rates and returning satisfying customers who are using Torg to simplify their sourcing processes.

We're looking to scale our sales team to continue growing our customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills and a solid understanding of the food & beverage industry, in order to help us scale our buyer network.

• Identify partnership opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, and other food buyers
• Handle outbound sales through email sequencing, phone calls, and social network marketing to acquire new buyers
• Grow our customer base by building relationships with new and existing customers, converting leads to deals
• Organize and attend food trade fairs and networking events to engage with potential customers
• Work cross-functionally on any new projects that excite you or add value to the company

• 2-3 years of experience in sales, purchasing, or procurement in the Food & Beverage industry or in a Foodtech startup
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies, preferably in a B2B sales team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Startup and growth mindset, with a desire to succeed in a high paced environment and an aptitude for learning new technology tools
• Experience working with or existing relationships with foodservice wholesalers or retailers a plus
• Bachelor's degree
• Fluency in English and one other European language. Preference for German speakers
