You will be involved in business challenges and the broadrange of resulting tax issues across various tax jurisdictions. Andyou act as enabler of the businesses' transition to an integratedenergy company committed to a lower carbon footprint. At bp, weapply agile ways of working and – in line with your individualskills and aspirations – you will be exposed to work beyond yourcore remit and encouraged to lead on key projects. Your new area ofresponsibility - challenging and future-oriented - Providepragmatic international tax advice (direct tax focus) to Customer& Products businesses across Europe through excellent taxtechnical and business knowledge - The role requires stronginter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectivelywith the different levels of business people we partner with. Thisrequires translating tax issues into commercial terms understood bynon-tax professionals and vice versa. - Identify opportunities andmaterial risks proactively and deliver/mitigate appropriately.Applying traditional and agile project management techniques todeliver within set timeframes and to cost - Manage projects frominitial design through to tax audit readiness. Whilst this roledoes not cover tax compliance matters you may be involved inadvising on tax filing positions and resolving contentious disputeswith tax authorities - Manage a range of tax issues across allareas of tax; develop a deep understanding of the business enablingto collaborate closely with the expert teams (esp.
