Your Responsibilities Enhance our systems to handle up to 1 billion data points per day from Germany's largest low-voltage network data source Embrace the 'you build it, you run it' principle, making DevOps more than just a word for us Take ownership of our data platform to ensure our web and data science applications are fed with current real-time and batch data Develop and implement robust data pipelines to efficiently process large data sets from various sources Collaborate closely with a dynamic, cross-functional team of software engineers and data scientists to devise innovative data processing and storage strategies Actively contribute to the company culture by fostering teamwork, innovation, fun, and creativity Your Profile Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data pipelines and infrastructures, particularly using Python Familiarity with modern tools and frameworks for data processing and assisting in their selection for SMIGHT Deep understanding of data modeling, integration, and quality, with a focus on internal standardization Experience working with cloud platforms and common big data technologies for storage and processing Understanding of data quality importance and methods for ensuring it Proficiency in DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with agile methods like Scrum or Kanban and their practical application Ability to analyze complex technical challenges, find pragmatic solutions, and communicate and align them with the team Capable of making decisions under uncertainty and confidently representing trade-offs Team player who can inspire and motivate others Proficiency in German language at a minimum B2 level in both speaking and writing What We Offer Flexible hybrid work model: 2 days at our modern office in Karlsruhe, rest of the week remote Assistance with home office furniture expenses Option to manage your work hours (40 hours/week) flexibly Clear tasks and transparent development opportunities through Job-OKRs Open and constructive team exchange through structured on-site team days Benefits such as mobility budget, discounts on public transportation monthly ticket, or job bike Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus, and 30 days of vacation Contributions towards your retirement savings and capital-forming benefits
