The Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology is looking for a computer scientist or research associate (m/f/d), to start as soon as possible, full-time, initially on a two-year fixed-term contract.

Your Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with the scientists (m/f/d) and physicians (m/f/d) of the Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology


• Cooperation with stakeholders of the RACOON project from other university hospitals and with participating partners


• Opportunity for your own research projects in the field of radiology


• Preparation of scientific publications and presentations


• Evaluation of AI models in multicenter analyses


• Training of AI models for image analysis (segmentation, classification)

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science, physics, biomedical engineering, or excellent training as an IT specialist, or a comparable qualification


• Knowledge in system and software engineering (Python), software testing, and machine learning is desirable


• Communicative team player with good English and German language skills


• Interest in standardized exchange formats, methods for developing and evaluating convolutional neural networks (PyTorch), container applications, and AI-based workflows


• High motivation, ability to work independently, and flexibility regarding tasks and areas of responsibility
