Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team, specializing in DIY garden machines across the European market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a proven track record in the assembly of mechanical components and handling technical materials or products within the DIY or mass market industry. This role requires fluency in both German and English and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and expertise to customers and partners in the DIY garden machines sector.
• Assist in the assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrotechnical components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials to provide accurate guidance and solutions.
• Work closely with the sales and product development teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing on-site and remote technical support as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements, with a focus on continuous improvement in the field of electrical engineering.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on product features, installation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions that meet market demands.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Proven experience in the DIY or industrial garden machines sector.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable technical training with additional qualifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in the assembly of mechanical components.
• Strong mechanical and electrotechnical knowledge.
• Experience in handling technical materials or products in DIY/mass markets.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong self-motivation with a desire and ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Curiosity, interest, and pleasure in working within an international and intercultural environment.
• High degree of responsibility and enjoyment of independent work.
• Willingness to undergo continuous further training, particularly in the field of electrical engineering.
