Our client is a forward-thinking agrochemical company specializing in the development, formulation, and global marketing of branded crop protection and plant nutrition products.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for their growing team.


Job Description

Drive Revenue Growth: Accelerate revenue by aggressively pursuing new business, expanding existing accounts, and building strong customer relationships through value-driven sales techniques. Set ambitious sales targets, track performance, and guide the team to exceed goals.

Optimize Distribution and Partnerships: Expand the distribution network by working closely with distributors and cultivating strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders. Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements and collaborate on joint initiatives to boost product visibility and sales.

Leverage Market Intelligence: Conduct market analyses to stay ahead of trends, anticipate dynamics, and identify growth opportunities. Use customer feedback and market intelligence to adapt product offerings and enhance engagement strategies.

Enhance Team Performance: Lead by example, provide hands-on coaching, and foster a competitive, results-oriented culture within the sales team. Conduct regular training to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship skills.

Monitor and Refine Strategy: Develop accurate sales forecasts, prepare detailed reports, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and resource allocation. Monitor expenses to align with budget constraints while maximizing sales impact.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology industry.
  • In-depth understanding of agricultural technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in negotiating complex agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities associated with operating in diverse international markets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and corporate social responsibility.
