Job Specification: Territory Sales Manager - Chemical Additives


Company: Leading chemical distributor specializing in additives for coatings and adhesives

Location: Germany

Reports to: Regional Sales Director


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee and expand our market presence for chemical additives within the coatings and adhesives sectors across Europe. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the chemical distribution industry, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to cultivate and manage key customer relationships effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer accounts in the coatings and adhesives markets.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and providing product expertise.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to address any product-related inquiries or challenges.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product offerings, including their applications and benefits within the coatings and adhesives sectors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the chemical distribution industry, with a focus on additives for coatings and adhesives.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth within a defined territory.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical additives, coatings, and adhesives markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
