Key Account Manager - Space

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager with a strong background in business development and a proven track record of success in the space industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving growth in Germany and Northern Europe. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with industry leaders in an exciting and innovative field.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities with new and existing clients in Germany and Northern Europe.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, positioning the company for long-term success.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of sales leads and manage them through the sales lifecycle.
  • Become a product expert.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to incorporate customer feedback into product development.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, working closely with the Pre-sales team, and support contract negotiations.
  • Ensure that business development targets are met, and all sales processes are aligned with company best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to keep the website and social media up-to-date and engaging.
  • Continuously monitor the market for new opportunities and support the implementation of relevant solutions.


Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in technology-related sales or business development, ideally in the space industry or a related engineering field.
  • A strong network within the German space sector and a passion for closing deals in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, and adept at identifying and developing new market opportunities across Northern Europe.
  • Fluent in both English and German; proficiency in French or other European languages is an advantage.
