Job Title: Sales Manager – DACH


Location: Remote - Germany

Headquartered in Europe, their innovative products are at the forefront of dietary supplement advancements. They take a customer-first approach and pride themselves on delivering a high level of customer service. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager to support their growth within the DACH region.


Job Summary: The Sales Manager for the DACH region will play a critical role in driving sales and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling scientifically validated nutraceutical ingredients to the dietary supplement industry. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers, delivering compelling scientific presentations, and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the DACH region.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by targeting dietary supplement companies, health product manufacturers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Deliver scientific presentations to potential and existing clients, effectively communicating the benefits and research behind the products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to stay updated on product advancements and market trends.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to the senior management team.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to represent the company and build industry connections.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs promptly and effectively, embodying the company’s customer-first philosophy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., Master's, Ph.D.) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the nutraceutical industry, specifically selling scientifically backed ingredients.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong scientific acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex scientific information effectively.
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience delivering scientific presentations to various audiences.
  • Fluent in German and English. Proficiency in other languages within the DACH region is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and organization.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region as required.
