The Regional Sales Manager Germany Northis responsible for growth and expansion of Germany sales within aspecific regional subset covering 4-5 territories; meeting andexceeding assigned sales targets through the direct management ofspecific accounts and through the management of a specific salesteam formed by Territory Managers and maintaining a specific focuson margins and profitability according to the company sales policy.The incumber performs his job fully in compliance with Danaher Codeof Conduct and Danaher Core Behaviors, working closely with otherfunctions such as Marketing, Field Application Specialists,Customer Service, and others to identify synergies and appropriatestrategies, and ensure growth. There are various careeropportunities in this role within and outside Commercial functionsin Cepheid and other companies under the Danaher Corporation. Theposition reports to the Country Manager, is part of the GermanSales Team, and is remote. In this role, you will: - Team with theGeneral Manager and the other relevant stakeholders to apply andcoordinate proper sales activities to achieve and exceed thetargets; maximize business opportunities and grows revenue acrossthe product portfolio - Maintain margins, profitability, prices,and system productivity according to company guidelines andpolicies - Develop the business through the coordination ofspecific regional events in collaboration with Marketing - Promotemenu utilization and expansion in existing accounts; increase theinstalled base and the market penetration in new segments - Learn,implement, execute and sustain tactical plans based on DanaherBusiness System (DBS) tools including Action Planning, Funnelmanagement, Growth Room and Daily Management - Lead and coach yourteam members on the best implementation of the sales tools anddriving strategies to overcome challenges - Design Territory Plansand assign targets to each team member, measuring the progressionand the achievement during the year; contribute to forecasts,deliver monthly reports and quarterly sales plan updates Theessential requirements of the job include: - Bachelor's degree withmore than 5 years or Master's degree with more than 3 years ofrelevant experience - Ability to set daily priorities forhim/herself and for the Team, to coordinate resources and to applyoperational business practices to meet operational objectives, toconstructively collaborate cross-functionally with otherstakeholders - Ability to use judgment to identify, troubleshootand resolve day-to-day operational problems, and readiness to be a“hands-on” leader - Strong communication skills in order to explainstrategy and tactics to the Team, convey performance expectationsand manage with clear goals and expectations. - Strong ability topresents strategies, projects, sales data and performance to theupper management with confidence and analytical approach - Abilityto plan, prioritise and deliver a revenue number including findinggrowth opportunities through both existing business and New Land. -Fluent in German and English is a must, previous people managementis desirable TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete all assigned andrequired training satisfactorily and on time, and ensure yourassociates attend and complete all required trainingssatisfactorily and on time.
