Job Overview


As an OEM Sales Manager at Silex Technology Europe, reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships, securing new design wins, and achieving revenue quotas within your assigned accounts and territory. You will exhibit a deep understanding of complex sales processes and be able to demonstrate sales success. You will have a successful technical solution selling track record and quickly and comfortably develop director-level relationships. You will be responsible for establishing, generating, and developing specific sales objectives within strategic opportunities in your territory.


Your valued contribution will include but not limited to:


  • Qualify opportunities quickly and effectively.
  • Review new leads and strategically prospect into target accounts within the territory to build a pipeline.
  • Capture and update opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Understand the customer decision-making process and communicate requirements clearly to the organization.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in presenting Silex products and technologies to your customers and partners.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build relationships, manage, and coordinate sales activities with our distribution and reps partners.
  • Negotiate the best deal possible for Silex.
  • Generate revenue growth for new and existing customers.
  • Bear responsibility for customers through all stages of the Sales Process.
  • Understand customer forecasts and secure orders against stated lead times.
  • Identify and execute long-term strategy plans for strategic customers.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience
  • 5 years of sales experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or technology company
  • Proven ability to learn technical products.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong oral and written communication in English and German. French is a plus.
  • Travel Required 25-50%


Location/Travel


You will report to our office in Willich, Germany. While physical presence in the office is not mandatory, your proximity to a major European airport is necessary if you work remotely. Most of your travel will be within Europe, with occasional international trips. Travel required up to 25- 50% of the time.
