Job Description
Our client, Germany's largest comparison platform and successful e-commerce company, has made it their goal to offer over 15 million of their loyal customers Germany's best insurance comparison. Work with our client to design innovative software solutions in an agile environment and international teams. Their focus is on clean code, and state-of-the-art technologies allow you to expand your programming knowledge continually. They are now seeking a Junior PHP Developer to become part of their great team.

Location: Munich

• Agile software development: Kanban-based work
  
• Large company, small teams: Short communication channels and 7-8 employees per team
  
• Tech stack: PHP 8.3, Lavarel 11 with Octane, Drupal
  

Responsibilities: 

• API programming with Laravel 11
  
• Support and further development of our client's CMS based on Drupal 10
  
• Implementation of new features and bug fixes with various web technologies
  
• Together with our client's team, you improve and maintain the entire architecture: consisting of frontend, backend, databases, caches, etc. (comparison mask, comparison result, final route, REST API)
  
• Help with optimizing and scaling the system within a service-oriented architecture
  
• Participation in code reviews and collaboration in automated tests (unit testing), with the support of our client's experienced developers
  

Requirements

• Up to two years of practical experience and solid knowledge of PHP.
  
• Ideally, you already have some experience with Drupal or Laravel and are interested in frontend.
  
• Quality awareness, independent work, and solution orientation characterize you.
  
• You enjoy working in a team and always seek the best solution.
  
• Interest in modern technologies and a pragmatic approach.
  
• Fluent written and spoken German (C1) is a must-have.
