Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for nearly 24 years. More than 140 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our more than 1,000 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 22 European countries.

Who we are looking for

An experienced Transfer Pricing Specialist who supports our internal tax team across entities. You will work on international tax cases in a motivated team of highly skilled professionals for a successful hidden champion on the European railway market.

WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY

Design, implement and document transfer pricing policies that comply with OECD guidelines and local regulations

Conduct transfer pricing analysis including functional, economic and benchmark analyses in collaboration with external advisors

Develop, enhance and monitoring the group"s tax compliance measures (e.g. DAC6, FATCA/CRS)

Provide (international) tax advice and support to the various departments within the organization, including finance, legal, HR and operations

Support to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax calculations and tax returns for different group entities including VAT returns and 8th directive claims

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

The best qualifications for this position are:

Sound knowledge of transfer pricing, international tax law and accounting

Complex problem-solving skills as well as flexibility and strong teamwork skills

Degree or relevant qualification in finance, tax, or accounting

Several years of professional experience in finance and tax in an international environment

Strong communication skills in English that will enable you to act as an information multiplicator within the team

Lifelong-learning mindset as well as interest in current regulation changes
