:About the team
Group Audit serves as Deutsche Bank’s independent `Third Line of Defense`, proactively assisting the bank’s business and infrastructure areas to identify control weaknesses. Comprising around 700 staff, our global connectivity provides a stimulating environment and the opportunity to collaborate, network and share knowledge with colleagues and specialists around the world.
The Professional Practices team is covering central topics and processes such as, amongst many others, Group Audit methodology and guidance (e.g. via internal SharePoint Online site), annual planning process and periodic plan-related reporting (e.g. via Tableau-based dashboard), and function-wide attestations and assessments.
Your key responsibilities
You work independently on audit methodology assignments and take on the evaluation and improvement of our Group Audit framework and guidance
You work hand-in-hand with colleagues from Professional Practices on joint initiatives and ad-hoc projects and actively search for improvement opportunities
In accordance with divisional standards, you work and document your work results within agreed budgets and timelines andact as supporter, but also challenger to our stakeholders
You may lead ad-hoc projects and represent Group Audit in committees and forums, both internally and externally, and you proactively keep abreast of pertinent industry, regulatory and business practices, while developing and maintaining a professional network with colleagues, stakeholders, and relevant support areas
Your skills and experiences
Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in business administration, economics and/or similar from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
Excellent analytical, problem solving, relationship management and presentation skills combined with
the ability to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organization
Experience with MS Office, AWARE, GFMS and/or similar tools with a focus on internal audit and findings management
Certifications as CIA, CISA or equivalent qualification in the areas of auditing, project management or process/ quality management
Awareness of general banking environment, risks and regulatory requirements; experience in the financial industry and knowledge of auditing standards and concepts
Fluent English both verbally and in writing
