Director (m/f/d) Portfolio Strategy and Performance Management Enteral Nutrition - Keto - Region APAC & International

Targets of the position:

  • Define the future product portfolio and optimize current product portfolio of concerned regions.
  • Align and build business cases of new ideas with regional and BUN contacts.
  • Track, analyze and report new and existing products’ performance in concerned region for Enteral Nutrition and Keto

    Portfolio Strategy Management:

  • Define future product portfolio by analysing trend data, current portfolio, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor competitor activities continuously for the regions responsible and report the findings.
  • Define portfolio gaps by conducting portfolio gap analysis in alignment with strategy, trends and competitor activities and provide opportunity areas as an input for new ideas accordingly aligning with regions.
  • Coordinate and land product portfolio optimization considering strategy through profitability, growth potential and complexity analysis in alignment with senior management, regions, and relevant functions.
  • Receive the new ideas from regions or Business unit and decide the process to formalize for ideation stage under relevant idea type (LCM, Line Extension or New Product concept) by assessing and providing portfolio strategy fit dimension considering future portfolio strategy.
  • Coordinate ideation stage of Line Extension projects by assessing business cases.
  • Build project business cases for launch requests of new products & roll-out of existing products from regions or business units and align on the assumptions used with regions / market units / Business Unit as an input for Project approval in feasibility stage.
  • Performance Management:

  • Track existing product performances and conduct critical analysis on plan vs. actual deviations in responsible region.
  • Track the business case evolutions through the planning cycles until end of the project.
  • Conduct post launch evaluations for all new product launches by comparing business case deviation from project approval to actual sales until 5th year.
  • Performance analysis against competitors
  • Continuous reporting of market strategic dynamics, strategic competitor activities (partnerships, acquisitions, new competitor entry, investments, etc.) in key markets.
  • Ensure high quality data for analysis by contributing data quality improvement initiatives and be the market intelligence representative of Portfolio Strategy Team.
  • Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in portfolio management, product management, project management in the Clinical nutrition, FMCG (Food), consultant companies (big 4) or Pharma in global scale.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics (MBA degree a plus).
  • Experience within an international Matrix driven organisation.
  • Excellent skills in data analytics, statistics and structuring complex topics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills through all levels of hierarchy.
  • Ability to moderate decision making through all levels of hierarchy via scenario building.

  • Experience in developing financial plans and working with financial data for business plan development.

  • Expertise in market and competitor insights analysis.
  • Very good skills regarding MS Office, Power BI, Thinkcell.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus.
