Job Title: Frontend Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany - Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team and help build the first AI-driven global supplier search engine. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, tech-driven environment, contributing to the digital transformation of the procurement and sourcing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and evolve the codebase of both the customer-facing app and the internal project management hub
• Collaborate closely with the product team to implement new features, contributing your own ideas
• Write high-quality, well-structured code that your peers will appreciate
• Create and maintain meaningful automated tests (unit, e2e)
• Operate and monitor applications in production, ensuring SLOs are met
• Work with backend and data colleagues to integrate through REST APIs
• Take ownership of projects from planning to production deployment
• Act as a sparring partner to discuss ideas and concepts with your colleagues
• Prioritize and assess when a pragmatic approach is better than perfection

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong knowledge of modern TypeScript and React
• Experience in operating and monitoring production applications (e.g., with Sentry, Datadog)
• Experience in automated testing tools (e.g., Vitest, Jest, RTL, Cypress)
• A good eye for design and UX
• Proficient English communication skills
