As a design intern at YT, you’ll be an essential part of our team and involved in all our activities. Starting in October 2024, you’ll dive into the Product Development – Engineering/Design team.

• Contribute to the design and development of mountain bike frames and accessories
• Work closely with the design team to come up with new design concepts that help drive the company forward
• Support your teammates in the day-to-day business
• Gain direct insights into the world of YT and our processes
• Take care of smaller projects from the first idea to the start of production in close collaboration with peers and supervisors
• Participate in the communication during the projects with international suppliers
• Ensure product quality through creative and innovative ideas

• You are currently and for the full duration of the internship enrolled at a university
• You are studying Industry or Product Design or a related course of study and by the time you start your internship will at least be in 4th Semester
• Preferably, you are experienced in SolidWorks, or you have got other CAD software knowledge like Rhino, Cinema, Fusion360, etc.
• You are familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially PS, AI and ID.
• You have an open and positive mindset as well as analytical and conceptual thinking
• Your work is characterized by a hands-on mentality, results-orientation, and a great amount of team spirit
• You are fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage
• You have got good knowledge of different presentation techniques
• Passion for the bike sport and a pronounced artistic understanding complete your profile
