Amazon Freight is a newly launched external-facing freight service by Amazon.It allows both small and large businesses to use Amazon to transport productsin bulk across Europe. This is an innovative technology-driven servicecurrently growing rapidly in Europe. Amazon Freight is part of the AmazonTransportation Services organization responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics and transportation operations. We are looking to hire for a Munich-based Account Manager position,responsible for nurturing and growing our existing portfolio of shippersthrough relationship building, engagement activities and ensuring a greatshipper experience. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role inbuilding this new function and should be highly analytical, customer obsessed,have experience in a commercial role, be able to work efficiently withinternal stakeholders and be ready to roll up the sleeves to grow thisbusiness. Key job responsibilities - Nurture and grow an existing portfolio of SMB-sized shippers and achievevolume goals with best-in-class service - Maintain a high level of engagement from our shippers through consultativeaccount management, and proactively identify the challenges they are facing - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio aswell as internally - Be the voice of the customer to guide product development and iterations - Identify and lead new commercial initiatives to solve customer pain pointsand improve shipper experience - Lead by example and coach other team members to ensure success as a team A day in the life Youll be based at one of our corporate sites. Youll stay close to every partof the shipping process which means you have visibility of everything to guideour shippers. Youll look after all elements of our partner relationships,from getting the contracts in place, cross- and upselling new services tokeeping track of performance. This role is all about clear communication. Youll be in daily contact withthe partners you manage to make sure they have everything they need to carryout deliveries on time. About the team Amazon couldnt deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Services(ATS) team. As part of ATS, youll be wecomed into a diverse team that plays acentral role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well assortation centres equipped with the latest technology, youll help Amazonstransport run at maximum efficiency.
