As the Intralogistics Sales Manager Germany, you will be responsible to develop and execute our local strategy and to drive profitable growth in this new market segment. You will identify, acquire and develop new and existing local customer relationships with market leading and solid end users, who are investing into Intralogistics Solutions. In addition, you will develop a network of vendors, referral partners and integrators in this segment to acquire new Intralogistics projects at an early stage. You also evaluate and analyse local market trends in this new segment, to identify incremental business opportunities and to develop new products and services to address the ever changing funding requirements and to stay ahead of competition. In addition, you will focus on establishing, maintaining and building relationships with Fortune 1000 customers who are in the business of warehousing, manufacturing and distribution with large forklift fleets, allied equipment, logistics/transportation and/or production equipment. DAY TO DAY: Identify, scope, prioritize, and target potential local key account opportunities in the Intralogistics, Automation Industry and Corporate Fleet Customers Actively scope and analyse the market to identify new Intralogistics projects at an early stage Identify and establish new partnerships with suppliers, referral partners and integrators in this segment Structuring, quoting and negotiating complex transactions with multi-national customers or tenders including progress payments and behavioural residual value positions Structuring and negotiating complex legal arrangements with multiple stakeholders Organize and manage multi-disciplinary deal teams to ensure efficient credit approval and operational processes Consulting customers to identify their specific financing requirements and to structure tailored solutions, addressing their needs Participate in respective industry events, association meetings and forums to present DLL as market leader in this segment. Together with marketing develop and execute (social) media campaigns and whitepapers. Use appropriate speaking opportunities to create brand awareness and generate new leads. ESSENTIALS: +7 years' experience in the finance or banking industry Strong sales drive, sales starter, with strong emphasis on target accomplishment Development and execution of commercial strategy Consultative selling approach Strong negotiation skills at C-level Ability to establish and drive progress in multi-disciplinary deal teams Ability to structure complex transactions including progress payment facilities, tailored re-payment structures and behavioral residual value positions, addressing specific customer requirements and respective investment business cases Sound legal understanding of complex purchase or investment transactions including potential legal risks associated with the investment. Ability to negotiate legal risk mitigants with customers and suppliers Sound understanding of different financial products and related legal implications Solid analytical skills including ability to assess customer credit profile based on financial information (BS and P&L). Ability to assess business cases, cash flow and profitability projections. Ability to negotiate credit risk mitigation with customers, suppliers or third parties Open to explore new ways of working to generate new projects and leads Fluent in German and English Affinity for new technologies and understanding of complex industrial installations or automation projects Ideally existing portfolio of Corporate Fleet and Intralogistics customers SETTLING IN: At DLL, we consider our people our biggest asset.
