We are exclusivley working with one of Europe's largest Healthcare instituions as they look for an expereinced Senior Data Scientist. You will play a key role in transforming healthcare through data-driven solutions & improving patient treatments through innovative medical data products.
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to better patient care. You’ll leverage a high amount of medical data to improve treatment processes, help optimise healthcare systems, and create cutting-edge data products. As part of an innovative team, your work will drive the adoption of best practices in data science, helping shape the future of healthcare in Europe.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive forward the development and deployment of advanced data science models to improve patient treatments and healthcare outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and healthcare experts to understand real-world problems and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions
- Help to build and improve the company’s data processes, ensuring that data flows are optimised for accuracy, scalability, and speed.
- Drive the continuous improvement of data models and algorithms, ensuring their performance and real-world applicability.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote a collaborative environment.
Who You Are:
- Experience: You have extensive experience (3+ years) as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of working with large-scale data and delivering business value.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Cloudera. Experience with Jupyter notebooks is a plus.
- Mindset: You bring a goal-driven mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Prior experience working within the medical or healthcare industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in German (both spoken and written) is required to collaborate effectively with local teams and stakeholders.
