Citi is looking for full-time Analysts to join the Investment Banking team in Frankfurt in 2025. The Investment Banking group advises corporate clients who want to raise funds in capital markets and who need strategic support in financial transactions. Initiatives you may be working on with clients include mergers; acquisitions; divestitures; financial restructurings; underwriting; and distributing equity; debt; and derivative securities. As an Investment Banking Analyst; you will join a training program where you will receive an in-depth education to learn the fundamentals of the Analyst role and introduce you to Citi’s culture. Whatever your degree is in; we will give you the training you need to excel.We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The Analyst program starts in mid-July and begins with a six week; in-depth training program in London before you join a team and your training will continue on the job. By the 3rd year of the programme internal mobility opportunities will be available.Responsibilities Work with senior Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) officers and professionals and participate in particular client transactions, projects or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking teamResponsible for organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plansPrepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live dealsConduct economic/financial researchEvaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trendsBuild complex financial models for valuation purposesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualification You have a 5.0/6.0 GPA (Swiss scale 1-6), 1.6 or higher (German scale 1-5), 2:1 or equivalentYou are in your final year of university or have graduated in a business administration, economics or related disciplineYou have an interest in business and previous relevant investment banking working experienceYou are fluent in EnglishAdditional Requirements Commitment to personal growth and career development; a strong desire to learn; and success in team environmentsIntellectual curiosity and proactive approach to searching for new and creative ideasStrong communication; planning; and organizational skillsDesire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industryUnquestioned commitment to integrity ethical decision-makingWe will recruit on a rolling basis and therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
