Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Junior Specialist – Finished Vehicle Logistics
Are you passionate about supply chain management and ready to kick-start your career in a dynamic and innovative industry? We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Junior Specialist to join our team and support our logistics operations for finished vehicles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Transport Planning & Coordination: Assist in creating and maintaining transport plans (truck, rail, mix loads) and securing transport capacity with suppliers. Monitor schedules, track ETAs, and handle special customer transport requests.
- Exceptional Situations Management: Support the resolution of loading/unloading issues, missing documentation, and emergency logistics challenges.
- Reporting & Analytics: Assist in preparing forecasts, supplier KPI reports, daily updates (yard stock, rail schedules), and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaboration & Relationship Building: Work closely with internal teams and external customers while assisting in onboarding and training of new colleagues.
- Data Management & Information Control: Ensure accurate data management for logistics documents (ATA, CMR, CIM) and monitor key performance metrics.
- Special Tasks: Support tasks like negotiating spot transport loads, managing transport requests, and assisting with train orders and invoice approvals.
- Educational Background: Academic degree or apprenticeship in a relevant field; experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, or finished vehicle logistics is a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with customs law and finished vehicle logistics processes; certification or specialized training in logistics is advantageous.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with supply chain software.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges, propose solutions, and manage competing priorities.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with various stakeholders such as factories, terminals, and shipping liners.
