We are currently seeking an experienced SalesProfessional (f/m/d) to join the BioPharma Team in Germany &Austria. The successful candidate should have an automationbackground with a high understanding of cell biology and will beresponsible for pre- and post-sales support for the MolecularDevices Cell line development products and automation. This productline includes hardware, software and reagents. Otherresponsibilities will include developing and nurturing referencecustomers, finding and attracting new accounts, mentoring Europeanteam members, supporting regional management projects as acontributor and leader of sub-projects. The Sales Specialist willwork remotely and cover the whole of Germany and Austria. Whatwe’ll get you doing: - Direct Territory Deliverables, achievemonthly and annual Quota in designated territory, to identify,qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular Devicessystem portfolio - Develop and maintain accurate Territory &Account Plans while working with a high level of independency -Develop, update, expand and maintain to a high degree of accuracyand integrity, the prospect database (SalesForce.com) and existingcustomer list and monitor sales growth. - Monitor competitor’sactivities, products, and potential new or improved applications orproduct extensions and the market evolution. The essentialrequirements of the role include: - Educational background in LifeSciences as Bachelor or higher - Profound sales experience inAutomation and Cell Biology would be an advantage as well asexperience in managing customers in salesforce.com - Highlymotivated, dedicated and willing to learn - Excellent communicationskills in German and English Travel, Motor Vehicle Record: -Ability to travel up to 50% with overnight within territory - Musthave a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record AtMolecular Devices we believe in designing a better, moresustainable workforce.
