Revent is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in Europe’s most ambitious founders working on climate, health, and empowerment. We’re headquartered in Berlin and are investing out of a €60M seed fund, with the second fund Revent II soon to come.
As we scale, we’re looking to hire a VC Fund Intern who will support us on all operational, finance, and fund administration topics as well as other special projects, so our investment team can focus on identifying and partnering with Europe’s most extraordinary founders and build an exceptional VC product and experience for founders.
TasksThis role touches on every part of the business, giving you unparalleled insight into VC firm operations. Key responsibilities include for example:
- Finance Support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external advisors to manage audits, tax filings, and compliance.
- Support investor onboarding & monitoring in particular KYC/AML checks and legal documentation reviews.
2. Portfolio & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with portfolio companies to gather financial KPIs and insights.
- Support quarterly reporting to investors (LPs), ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including advisors, partners, and service providers.
3. Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects
- Lead ad-hoc projects that drive the firm’s long-term strategy.
- Research market trends and identify operational best practices to keep Revent ahead of the curve.
- Support planning and execution for key milestones, such as fund launches or events.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a smart, ambitious, and highly organized individual eager to step into a fast-paced, high-impact role. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has 1+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, consulting, finance, or a similar field.
- Possesses strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Can manage multiple priorities, adapt to new challenges, and thrive in a startup-like environment.
- Is comfortable with numbers and has a good understanding of financial concepts (previous exposure to accounting or compliance is a bonus).
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both in writing and speaking.
- Is excited to be part of a mission-driven team working on global challenges.
Eligibility
This role is for students who are looking for an internship of 3-6 months, starting January 2025. The position is based in Berlin and fluency in German and English are required. We strongly believe that there isn’t one “right” profile for this role and encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply.
