We are currently seeking a Account ManagerGermany South East & Austria (f/m/d) who will be responsiblefor developing and nurturing reference customers, finding andattracting new accounts, mentor European team members, supportregional management projects as contributor and leader ofsub-projects. The Account Manager will work remotely and cover theregion of Bavaria in Germany and Austria. What we’ll get you doing:- Direct Territory Deliverables, Achieve monthly and annual Quotain designated territory, to identify, qualify, develop, support andclose sales of the Molecular Devices system portfolio - Develop andmaintain accurate Territory & Account Plans while working witha high level of independency - Develop, update, expand and maintainto a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database(SalesForce.com) and existing customer list and monitor salesgrowth. - Monitor competitor’s activities, products, and potentialnew or improved applications or product extensions and the marketevolution. The essential requirements of the role include: -Educational background in Life Sciences as Bachelor or higher -Profound sales experience in instrument and software sales could bean advantage as well as experience in managing customers insalesforce.com - Highly motivated, dedicated and willing to learn -Excellent communication skills in German and good English Travel,Motor Vehicle Record: - Ability to travel up to 70% with overnightwithin territory - Must have a valid driver’s license with anacceptable driving record At Molecular Devices we believe indesigning a better, more sustainable workforce.
