For our customer in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the Finkenwerder Germany location as part of temporary employment for the following position:
Cabin Stress Engineer (m/f/d) - temporary for approx. 1.5 years Ref. 10295026
Job profile:
The job holder (m/f/d) works as a Cabin Stress Engineer in the Cabin Stress Seats team.
Static and dynamic qualification and certification of cabin components, in particular passenger seats and monuments such as kitchens or storage cabinets, for series production and new development
Static analyses (by hand, FEM (Finite Element Method)), checking supplier documentation, technical coordination with suppliers, acceptance of approval tests and the preparation of evidence for certification
Preparation of test definitions and support of structural tests
Advice to external companies/ monitoring of subcontractors, preparation of work packages and technical advice
In-service support for customers for aircraft in operation
Review and release of technical documents in accordance with the delegated ATA chapters (Air Transport Association) and DTLL (document type level list)
Personal requirements:
Strong communication skills to work with contacts at all levels
Careful and structured way of working to plan appointments on time and coordinate work processes efficiently
Independent way of working and excellent organizational skills
High level of commitment and personal responsibility as well as Assertiveness and a confident demeanor
Business trips approximately once a month. for approx. 5 days (within Europe)
Study:
Civil engineering at least Bachelor's degree or
Engineering at least Bachelor's degree or
Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree or
Mechanical engineering at least Bachelor's degree
Professional experience:
Engineering at least over 3 years
Stress engineer at least over 3 years
in the cabin and / or structure area at least 3 years
IT:
Python at least basic application knowledge
Nastran at least in-depth application knowledge
Patran at least in-depth application knowledge
vpm at least basic application knowledge
Google Workspace
Additional qualifications:
Knowledge of the approval of cabin components
Good knowledge of cabin integration
Ability to record technical reports of several hundred pages and filter out the most important information
Knowledge:
Project management at least good knowledge
Experience in aviation is essential
Language skills:
German at least business fluent
