Your future tasks at Data Insights

Applying software development best practices in big data processing applications
-
ETL development, Data Analytics, Data Operations
-
Data modelling and Data Warehousing
-
Parallel, Batch and Stream-processing
-
Working with data: validation, cleaning, visualization
-
Learn and use state-of-the-art cloud technologies
-
Design and develop real-time data driven solutions on prem and in the cloud (AWS/Azure)
Requirements

Bachelor / Master's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Management or in similar qualifications

Programming Languages: Java / Scala, Python, C/C++, SQL

Basic knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)

Object-oriented programming
-
Understanding of software development cycle

Openness to occasional travel
-
German, English: fluent in speaking & writing

Good to have:

Spark, Experience of ETL/ELT and Data-Warehouse Systems(DWHs)

Distributed data processing systems and databases

Knowledge/Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, AWS, Azure
