About the Role

Provide direct technical assistance to employees in terms of hardware and software as well as install the new computers that are required and update those that are already operational at our site in Darmstadt. Maintain the VmWare infrastructure, ensuring the proper functioning of the specific services of each server as well as manage the network infrastructure and the devices connected to it. Regarding printing devices (renting/leasing), to provide technical assistance to the different users of these devices by providing solutions on a day-to-day basis. Is responsible for communication and breakdown management with the supplier.

Main tasks

• Software and Hardware Installation and Configuration
• Manage servers and network devices
• Creating user and team accounts
• Troubleshoot and Issue
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Maintain documentation of processes and configurations
• End-user support

Your profile:

• Intermediate Degree in IT, qualification as an IT system administrator or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of hardware and software systems
• Relevant experience with Microsoft Windows Server Management & Networks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Very good knowledge of German & English
