The Highfield Company is working with a leading global provider of power generation solutions and energy storage systems. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, the company delivers cutting-edge products and services that meet the diverse needs of industrial, commercial, and residential customers worldwide. As they continue to expand their operations in the energy storage market, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join their team.


Position Overview:

The Sales Manager for North Eastern Germany will be responsible for driving sales of Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems (C&I BESS). This role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in the region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the energy storage industry, proven experience in sales, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in North Eastern Germany.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and distributors.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly


Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine strategies and improve performance.


Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Develop a deep understanding of C&I BESS products and services.
  • Provide product training and support to customers and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure offerings meet market demands.


Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the EMEA sales team to share insights, strategies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and promote its offerings.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the energy storage, renewable energy, or power generation industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of the German market dynamics and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required
  • Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
