We are currently looking for Retail Manager DACH to join our German team!
Job responsibilities:
Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts, managing day-to-day interactions and developing long-term relationships.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business, goals, and challenges.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by proactively addressing issues and providing timely solutions.
Sales Growth and Revenue Optimization
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to drive revenue growth for each account.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand account potential and increase average order value.
- Partner with accounts to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts to maximize sales performance.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Collaborate with clients to plan and execute strategic initiatives, such as seasonal promotions, product launches, and advertising campaigns.
- Analyze account performance data, industry trends, and market insights to recommend and implement strategies that support account objectives.
- Regularly review and adjust strategies to respond to shifts in market demand, competitor actions, and client needs.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, conversion rates, return on investment (ROI), and customer acquisition costs for each account.
- Prepare detailed reports on account performance and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Use data analysis to drive improvements and optimize account activities, ensuring maximum ROI for both the client and our platform.
Negotiation and Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements that align with business goals and ensure profitable partnerships.
- Handle contract renewals and maintain updated agreements with existing accounts, adjusting terms when needed to support mutual growth.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to negotiate effectively.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and logistics teams to coordinate account-related initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Liaise with customer service to resolve account-specific issues and maintain high standards of service.
- Coordinate with technical teams to maintain accurate product listings, inventory updates, and digital assets.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or a related industry.
Experience working with Amazon or Otto platforms, with familiarity in platform operations, guidelines, and resources, is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using eCommerce analytics tools, CRM platforms, and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Negotiation skills to handle complex contract discussions and pricing strategies effectively.
Strategic planning ability to devise tailored solutions and growth strategies for each account.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address client needs efficiently. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, marketplaces, and digital marketing best practices is a plus.
Flexible, with strong independent thinking skills and the ability to coordinate and mobilize resources across teams.
