About the Role:

We are recruiting a Senior Marketing Manager on behalf of our client, a leading international fast-casual restaurant group. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position plays a pivotal role in managing and executing a broad range of marketing functions. The Senior Marketing Manager will focus on developing and implementing strategic and operational marketing plans, campaigns, and promotions.

This role will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the competitive positioning of the business, contribute to new product launches, and provide leadership within the marketing team. With a specific focus on Germany and Austria, the successful candidate will drive marketing efforts for the business unit, supporting growth and innovation in these key markets.


Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

Strategic Marketing & Business Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership across EMEA to develop strategic and operational marketing plans.
  • Develop and manage the annual Marketing Calendar in close collaboration with the EMEA marketing team.

Product and Campaign Management:

  • Manage Menuboard updates and ensure alignment with regional marketing strategies.
  • Drive Go-To-Market strategies for all product-related initiatives, including the development of business cases and managing internal data.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for (Digital) operations, supply chain, and FSQA teams.

Marketing Execution:

  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure innovative, targeted, and effective media strategies.
  • Monitor the performance and ROI of campaigns, analyzing data and reporting on key metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Insights and Culinary & Innovation teams to conduct market research and identify customer needs.
  • Collaborate on new product development and business plans, taking responsibility for full implementation.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide direct line management for the Assistant Marketing Manager, supporting their development and performance.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.


Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the Senior Marketing Manager will need the following qualifications and competencies:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5–8 years of experience in a generalist marketing role, managing national and/or international brands in industries such as QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), FMCG, or Media/News.
  • Experience in brand or product management, with a proven track record of marketing success across multiple markets.
  • Familiarity with international working environments and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Media planning/ATL development experience and NPD (New Product Development)/Culinary experience would be strong assets.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, agile work environments.

  • Collaborative spirit and high emotional intelligence, with a willingness to take on diverse tasks as needed.

  • Proven ability to use data-driven marketing initiatives to deliver results and drive growth.
  • Experience co-leading or managing complex agency networks.
