We are searching for a Business Development Manager for our client who will:
Seek new business opportunities
Approach new potential customers and negotiate commercial terms and conditions to finalize profitable deals
Manage cooperation with existing customers of the company to strengthen relationships and grow business synergies
Key responsibilities:
New business development:
Prospecting for new business opportunities customers (cold-calling) primarily in German market in line with the company's business strategy
Navigating company structures & identifying decision-makers
Building trust and credibility, developing partnerships, act as a face of the company at industry events and conferences
Customer relationship management:
Managing existing customers by regular calls and customer visits
Developing their synergies and building long-term and strong relationships
Solution selling & customer-centric approach:
Understanding customer’s business
Add value to mutual cooperation
Preparation of presentations for (potential) customers
Sales process management:
Quotations & pricing preparation (collaborate with Customer Care, Technical, and Financial departments to prepare accurate quotations and set competitive pricing for customer orders)
Negotiating & concluding contracts
Internal CRM System Management (maintain customer information and process customer data)
Strategic collaboration & planning:
Sales forecasting & performance reporting
Collaborating with CEO + implementing the company’s sales strategy
Campaign development + collaborating with the Customer Care and Marketing departments to design and execute targeted business development campaigns that align with the company’s growth strategy
Competences and responsibilities:
Co-Responsibility for Customer Communication:
Share responsibility for ensuring effective and clear communication with customers, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues proactively
Authority to Conduct Business Negotiations:
Independently conduct business negotiations and make business offers, ensuring they align with the company’s business model and strategic objectives
Autonomy in Planning Business Trips & Home Office:
Authority to plan their own business trips and work from home when necessary, balancing business needs with personal efficiency
Participation in Business Planning and Budgeting:
The employee is entitled to contribute to the development of the company’s business plan and budget, offering insights that align with the company’s growth strategy and market position
