Regional Sales Manager - Airfreight

Making money for you and for the business is the primary goal, and you can achieve this in an environment that is much more agile and flexible than a global forwarder


This is an APAC trade lane-focused company, but with a completely German leadership team in their German branches, so no issues here with cultural clashes


You’d be working as a Regional Sales Manager within a 20-strong team, with the operational side having particular strengths in Air Export. This is a longstanding team with great understanding of the operational processes.


You would be the third person in the Sales team in Germany, which will be growing to 5 people by mid-2025. Your base for 1-2 days per week is their Frankfurt office.


They have a large blue-chip German automotive client that gives a lot of financial stability, however they are looking to diversify their offering.


Your target customers would likely be the larger SMEs – you could focus on verticals like machinery, healthcare, retail. Wherever the demand is for export to APAC you can go.


There’s a real benefit to having a focused product offering, you can quickly eliminate unsuitable prospects and target your efforts where they will be successful.


The scope for growth here is amazing. In the last 6 months they have already contributed 15% of their revenue from brand new accounts.


Bringing in €400,000 to €500,000 of revenue in your first 12 months is definitely achievable here


And your earning potential? You’ll get commission of 10% of your gross profit. With no thresholds. Or time limits. That’s for the lifetime of an account.


Salary of course depends on your experience and what you can bring to the business. At the lower end this could look like €65,000 but €90,000 is within scope if you can justify it
