At Leica & Fjorden, we are reimagining mobile photography. With Fjorden, we set out to create the world’s camera app.

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will run paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms to drive Leica LUX app growth (downloads and subscriptions) and boost Fjorden product sales.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Leica LUX & Fjorden, you will play a key role in growing our user base and increasing brand visibility. You are data-driven, understand the impact of strong creative on ad performance, and know how to choose the right campaign objectives and optimization goals to achieve the desired results.

We’re a small, fast-moving unit within Leica, so we’re looking for someone who thrives on responsibility and independence. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Details below.

In this role you will…

  • Plan and execute paid campaigns: Run paid media campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google, with a focus on driving conversions and improving ROI for Fjorden and Leica LUX. If experienced, contribute to Apple Search Ads (ASA) strategy to boost Leica LUX downloads and subscriptions.
  • Optimize campaigns: Continuously monitor and refine campaigns, using A/B testing and data analysis to improve performance and scalability.
  • Manage budgets: Allocate and track advertising budgets across platforms, ensuring cost-effective acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate on creative assets: Work closely with the design team to develop ad creatives, including images, videos, and copy, tailored to campaign objectives and target audiences.
  • Analyze and report on performance: Track and report on key metrics like brand lift, ROAS, CAC, LTV, and subscription conversion rates, providing insights to inform strategy.
  • Explore new channels: Identify and test new paid acquisition channels or strategies to broaden our reach and uncover additional growth opportunities.

You will be a great fit if…

  • You have 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong track record of running paid campaigns on Meta and Google (ASA is a plus), ideally for e-commerce and iOS apps/subscription businesses.
  • You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and analytical, capable of managing budgets and tracking performance across multiple campaigns.
  • You have a creative eye and can work with designers to create compelling ad assets tailored to different audiences.
  • You are proactive, self-motivated, and thrive on taking ownership of your work from strategy to execution.
  • It’s a bonus, but not required, if you are enthusiastic about photography and understand the unique needs of mobile photography users!

Our Stack

  • We use AppsFlyer, Amplitude, RevenueCat, Google BigQuery, and Looker.
  • Tasks are managed in Linear, UI designs and prototypes live in Figma.
  • Communication is done via Slack & Linear. You can work fully remotely, or from one of the Leica offices, e.g. Cologne, Munich, or Wetzlar (HQ). The Leica LUX & Fjorden team is distributed across Oslo, Amsterdam, Milan, and other European cities. Ideally you are located around +/- 5 hours of the UTC time zone. 1-2 times per year, we meet up in person in Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, or elsewhere.

What you get

  • Salary of ~€60k + performance bonus
  • Fully remote, work from wherever you want
  • 25 vacation days + public holidays
  • New MacBook Pro (14" or 16", your choice)
  • Employee discounts for Leica Camera products
  • (Side note: Your employment contract will be with Fjorden B.V., a Dutch subsidiary of Leica Camera AG)
