Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the CAS modeling and visualization team
• Ensure collaboration between designers, engineers, and other departments
• Allocate resources and manage timelines for CAS projects

2. 3D Modeling and Digital Sculpting

• Oversee the creation of high-quality 3D digital models using tools like Alias, ICEM Surf, or Blender
• Ensure the accurate translation of 2D sketches and design briefs into 3D surfaces
• Ensure models meet aesthetic, ergonomic, and functional requirements

3. Visualization and Presentation

• Lead the development of advanced visualizations, including renderings, animations, and VR/AR experiences
• Use software such as VRED, KeyShot, or Unreal Engine to create realistic and compelling presentations
• Present concepts to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and engineers, in an engaging and informative way

4. Collaboration and Innovation

• Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in CAS modeling and visualization
• Explore and implement new methods of digital prototyping and visualization to enhance design workflows

5. Quality Assurance

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all digital models and visual assets
• Maintain high standards for surface continuity, reflections, and overall design fidelity

Requirements

1. Education

• Major in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field

2. Experience

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in CAS modeling and visualization in the automotive or transportation design industry
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality design outputs

3. Technical Skills

• Expertise in 3D modeling tools such as Alias, Blender, Rhino, or ICEM Surf
• Advanced knowledge of visualization tools like VRED, KeyShot, or Unreal Engine
• Familiarity with VR/AR tools and digital prototyping technologies

4. Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

5. Additional Competencies

• Ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints and feasibility
