OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking a Senior Manager Site Contracts* to strengthen our Clinical Operations department. You will work in either Tübingen, Munich or remote (within Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from Germany and the US. Your strong analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the team’s success.YOUR MISSIONYour main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:Drafting, negotiating, analyzing, escalating, and finalizing all required contracts and budgets with sites in Germany and the US in collaboration with IP, Legal, and/or external counselSupporting contract and budget negotiations performed by a CRO within EuropeDeveloping and maintaining internal investigator payment benchmarks.Utilizing external investigator payment benchmarks to prepare site budgets.Identifying potential risks related to site contracting and proposing mitigation strategies.Managing the overall site contracting timelines to ensure on-time delivery.Utilizing pre-accepted risk fallback positions for both legal and budget-related matters to expedite negotiations.Ensuring regular communication and prompt escalation to facilitate the planning, execution, issue resolution, and management of site contracts and other essential documents as required.Reviewing redlined site contracts and providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced negotiators.YOUR PROFILEYou hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in (life) sciences and have gained at least 5 years of experience in negotiating site budgets and contracts within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, preferably in oncology and/or cell therapy and in the European region. Clinical study start-up experience, particularly with site contractual documents, is essential, along with demonstrated advanced leadership skills.We expect a high degree of proactiveness, analytical reasoning and excellent communication skills in English and German.
