Barentz – company profile Animal Nutrition

Our livestock activities are part of our animal nutrition division, in which we have a pan-European and global presence (e.g. www.Sevecom.it, www.Noackgroup.com, and www.Pestell.com). With the plant-based proteins in our portfolio as well as our broad knowledge and experience on behalf of our principals, we are the producers of technological solutions. We aspire to be a one-stop shop for our livestock customers. Through our technological solutions, our knowledge, as well as the sustainable products in our portfolio, specifically yeasts, phytogenics we focus ourselves on sustainable, animal health and well-being through nutrition. To complete our one-stop-shop we also have a range of starches, carbohydrates, organic acids, and more into our extensive portfolio.



About the role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong account management with customers, ensuring they receive comprehensive product information.
  • Drive new business development, manage sales funnels, and collaborate with principals on forecasting and pricing.
  • Work closely with marketing to provide technical product insights and support portfolio development.
  • Develop customer-specific product concepts and expand our portfolio with innovative solutions.
  • Partner with QA to ensure compliance with EU legislation and establish trial protocols with principals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with research centers and leading agricultural universities.



About you

  • A BSc. or MSc. in Animal Nutrition, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty sales within the Animal Nutrition industry.
  • Expertise in premixes, mineral mixes, compound feed, aqua feed, and livestock ingredients.
  • Proven commercial track record, with strong technical knowledge and networking skills.
  • Fluent in German and English language A proactive, self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany.
