What the job involves * Taking end-to-end responsibility of the investment cycle from target identification, sourcing, due diligence, transaction and portfolio management to divestments * Shaping investment theses, providing market intelligence, independently identifying and approaching investment opportunities through personal network as well as desktop research * Strong quantitative commercial and financial modelling skills * Actively taking part in the investment decision process and participating in board meetingsWho we are looking for * Prior professional tech M&A experience from an investment bank or corporate venture capital team * Strong academic record (Bachelor's or Master's degree) from a reputable business school * Demonstrable interest in digitalisation, investments and start-ups/scale ups * Knowledge about minority investing and deal structures * Strong analytical and financial modelling skills * Highly organised and structured with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines * Strong creative and conceptual skills - proven ability to generate deal ideas * Team player, ability to develop relationships - motivated, energetic, and driven * Outstanding communication skills to be able to engage with people of all levels * Career drive - someone ambitious who wants to make a career in VC/PE * Fluent in English and German, additional languages are a plusYou will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
