For our Lab Site in Neuried near Munich we are looking for a Scientist (m,f,d) - New Technologies in Antibody Generation
How You`ll Make an Impact:
- Evaluation, development and optimization of existing and new technologies in the field of recombinant antibodies with a special focus on selection, screening and antibody modification methods
- Support establishing yeast surface display
- Characterization of antibodies in various assays (direct and indirect ELISA, sandwich ELISA, Western Blot, etc.)
- Using bioanalytical methods (SDS PAGE, stability measurements, expression analysis, SEC, etc.)
- Continuous improvement of laboratory processes
- Reading scientific literature and internal presentation of results
- Training and instruction of new laboratory employees, if required
What You Bring:
- Master or PhD in biochemistry, chemistry or biology or comparable
- Very good knowledge of working with recombinant yeast cultures
- Solid background in modern molecular biology and protein chemistry
- Ability to efficiently organize laboratory work allowing nesting experiments
- Good command of MS Office and scientific software (like sequence analysis software)
- True Team player with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
- Very good communication skills in English and in German Language
