My client is a leading specialist technology solutions provider specializing in digital document creation, digital web services and digital transformation. Their mission is to enable businesses to enhance their web-based document deployment and communication process, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and scalability. They are looking for two seasoned, highly proficient/ talented and driven Post Sale Consultants to join their professional services team in the DACH & EE region (ideally based remotely in Germany), contributing to innovative technical implementation projects across various industries.


Role Overview

As a Post Sale Consultant specialising in XML based web document implementation & SaaS rollouts, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and post sale support (implementation & training) to customers in developing, integrating, and optimizing web-based document composition and integration across all communication medians within a customer providing a first class "post sale" experience. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to understand technical & business requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth document implementation and deployment of related customer communications technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and challenges related to web document services. Provide expert advice on best practices and solution design.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance web documents and APIs based on client requirements.
  • Technical Implementation: Lead or support the implementation of web document solutions using modern web technologies (XML/HTML/XSLT/XSL-FO and/or XPath), ensuring they align with the client's strategic objectives).
  • Integration: Assist clients in integrating web services with existing systems, databases, and third-party applications.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies in web services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Training and Support: Provide training sessions for clients' technical teams on new systems and technologies, ensuring they can effectively maintain and use the web services post-deployment.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration plans, and user guides to ensure transparency and ease of implementation.
  • Project Management Support: Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of solutions, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web services, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team and the client.
  • Increase billing (revenue growth) opportunities within the customer base


Qualifications/Experience:


  • Solid understanding of technical SaaS applications, web services, cloud computing, APIs, and integrations.
  • Good experience/knowledge of working with XML & web technologies (e.g., XML/HTML/XSLT/XSL-FO and/or XPath, Java/JavaScript, REST APIs) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of other technologies (JavaScript, web services, databases)
  • 5-8 years of experience in a post-sales, technical consulting, or customer-technical facing role within a B2B SaaS vendor environment as well as experience in technical support or professional services is a must.
  • Good energy & engaging personality - customer centric with a growth mind-set (used to scaling SaaS culture).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently, using analytical thinking and creative problem-solving approaches working within the customers processes.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset: A customer-centric approach with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive value.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in German & English, Italian nice to have), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and deliver training to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications (Optional): Relevant certifications in SaaS, cloud platforms, or technical consulting are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect).
  • Degree in an IT related subject
