Growing from our roots as an investment manager, Aquila Clean Energy EMEA today is a fully fledged independent power producer with a strategic focus on solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage across our core European markets.For our headquarter in Hamburg we are looking for a Strategy and Project Associate - CEO office (m/w/d).The Associate will be a member of the CEO Office, a small and dedicated team that directly supports the CEO in strategic initiatives aimed at driving the growth and success of the company. This role provides a unique opportunity to participate in high-level decision-making, access strategic market date and analyses, and participate in strategic projects that advance the company’s vision of leading the clean energy transition. The individual will collaborate with senior leadership and lead cross-functional projects to offer insights, shape business strategies, and provide critical support to the top management of the company.Your responsibilitiesAssist the CEO and senior leadership in defining and executing the firm’s strategic initiatives. Develop business plans and strategies for market expansion, including entry into new geographies or technologies within the clean energy sector. Work with external stakeholders including investors, regulators, and partners to advance business objectives.Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely execution and alignment with the firm's strategic objectives, acting as a liaison between the CEO and the company’s departments.Monitor financial models to assess the performance and viability of investments. Track the performance of current investments and recommend strategic adjustments based on market conditions.Provide insights into industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may impact the firm’s investment portfolio.Your qualificationsBachelor’s and master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Energy Management, or related field.3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting (preferably big 4), investment banking, private equity, or a strategy role in a high-growth company, preferably within the clean energy or sustainability sector.Strong understanding of the clean energy market, including renewable energy technologies, power markets, regulations, and financing mechanisms.Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.Experience in financial modeling, market research, and due diligence.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Power Point presentations and investment memorandum.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across various teams.Your prospectsThe Aquila Group is a future-oriented company that combines focus, far-sightedness, ambition and independent entrepreneurial responsibility with team spirit and an outstanding corporate climate to create synergies.
