Role: Senior Business Analyst

Fluency in German (C1 level).

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Context:

The project involves implementing the legally required unbundling of network operators and suppliers in the 16.7 Hz traction current range. This project is part of a larger initiative to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to enhance business processes related to market access in the energy sector.

Services Required:

• Modeling and Documenting Class Models: Use Enterprise Architect to model and document class models.
• Story Breakdown and Documentation: Independently break down stories and document them in Jira.
• Organizing and Conducting Workshops: Organize, conduct, and document workshops and work results.
• Advisory Support: Provide advisory support in developing epics and features.
• Customer Interviews and Presentations: Conduct and moderate customer interviews and presentations.
• Requirements Transfer: Transfer requirements to a development team.
• Business Process Analysis: Consult on business process analysis and modeling.
• Conception and Specification: Develop requirements and interface specifications.

Project Details:

• The role may involve up to 10% on-site work, with the remainder potentially being remote. Daily availability is desired.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in IT consulting, working on projects with at least 60 employees.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the rail industry or a similar sector.
• Proven experience advising specialist departments and collaborating with large IT projects, architects, and agile development teams.
• At least 2 years of experience in the energy industry.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Confluence, Balsamiq, and UML.
• In-depth know-how in technical architectures, business process analysis, and design.
• Experience with tools like Jira.
• Fluency in German (C1 level).
• Knowledge of railway-specific technical terms and market roles relevant to the 16.7 Hz control area (LF, BNB, BIKO, KODI, BKV, RZB, EIV, etc.).
• Understanding of relevant regulations and laws, including GPKE, EEG, EnWG, StromNZV, and MaBiS.
