Stellantis’ Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. As part of that foundation, we are seeking a Senior Manager for Software Methods & Tools as an integral part for our Integration Platform. The individual should define and lead the strategy including implementation of software methods & tools plus supporting the concept & mindset of DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery and closely aligned with the needs of our platform programs: STLA Brain, STLA Cockpit and STLA Autodrive.

The primary focus of this individual will be to establishing the methodologies, i.e. application of the respective development tools in coordination with the program developers and tech leaders, and regulations of the automotive industry. Modern license management and strategic license decisions for the software area and in cooperation with our tool providers must be built sustainably. Technical excellence, efficiency of the development teams and a low license cost footprint is an integral responsibility. This individual must have a good understanding of regulations like ISO 26262, but on the same time a broad overview of non-automotive tooling, that accelerates the transformation of Stellantis into an industry leading tech company.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 10+ years of Technical Leadership in SW Development, including Methods & Tools.
• Expertise in planning, implementing & monitoring of M&T strategies and processes within the product lifecycle.
• Ability to seamlessly work across functional and organizational boundaries; reputation for influencing others and earning trust across levels and organizations.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to improve developer experiences.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring continuous innovation.
• Experience in managing disparate operational teams.
• Good knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF, ASPICE).
• Good Knowledge of code version and binary management tools like GIT, Artifactory.
• Experience in managing licenses of software tool products.
• Experience with the creation of guidelines, method description and process documents.
• Experienced in developing and holding training courses.
• Experience with Agile, and Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree, Dipl. Ing.
• 15+ years of Technical Leadership in Software Methods & Tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM
• Experience in DevOps with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment, Continuous Test (CI/CD/CT) practices
• Knowledge with software dependency management technologies like git submodules, Conan.IO, Yocto-manifest, git-repo
• Experience in release & delivery processes of software products.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe and Scrum Methodologies
