Key Challenges and Opportunities:

• Optimise and Innovate: Lead the charge in monitoring and optimising the conversion rates of our portfolio. Unearth opportunities for pricing enhancements, using data to craft smarter, more profitable strategies.
• Precision in Pricing: Use Python to fine-tune our pricing logic and ensure every adjustment is accurate and impactful. Bring your coding expertise to life by driving error-free implementations that matter.
• Build Smarter Algorithms: Collaborate with the Pricing & CLV and Data Science teams to improve the pricing algorithms that balance profitability and fairness to customers. Your work will actively drive profit maximisation across the board.
• Test and Learn: Design and implement robust A/B pricing tests that provide actionable insights for improving profitability. Be part of a continuous learning process where your findings will directly fuel business decisions.
• Advanced Modelling: Develop predictive models, segment customer profiles, and build machine-learning solutions that revolutionise how we price and convert customers.
• Strategic Partner: Present your findings and influence the direction of pricing strategies by collaborating closely with Product Managers, Risk Management, and senior leaders. Become the go-to expert on pricing dynamics and strategies.
• Ad-Hoc Problem Solver: Lend your expertise to a variety of analytical tasks that come your way, solving new challenges as they arise.

Key Requirements to Thrive in This Role:

• Master Data, Master Python: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a solid foundation in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modelling are a must. If you have experience with machine learning or data mining, you'll feel right at home.
• Laser-Focused on Analytics: Your sharp attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and passion for extracting insights from large datasets will be key to making data-backed recommendations that fuel our growth.
• Understand the Numbers, Influence the Business: A deep understanding of personal lending products and pricing dynamics is critical. You'll translate your technical insights into business language that drives impactful decisions.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees (Master's/Ph.D.) are a bonus.
• Proven Expertise: Programming experience in Python and SQL is required. Previous experience in data science or analytics within the financial services sector is highly beneficial.
• Communication Excellence: You're confident articulating your ideas in English—both written and verbal—to ensure clear, impactful conversations.
