Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of large retail datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models to forecast sales, customer behavior, and inventory needs.

Time Series Analysis:

• Implement and refine time series models to predict future trends in retail metrics.
• Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and statsmodels for accurate forecasting.

Machine Learning & AI:

• Design and deploy machine learning models to optimize pricing, promotions, and product placement.
• Explore and apply advanced algorithms for demand forecasting and customer segmentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.

Tool Development & Automation:

• Create automated pipelines for data processing and model deployment.
• Utilize tools like Jupyter, Docker, and Airflow to streamline workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient in Python, with a strong focus on libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
• Extensive experience in time series analysis, including ARIMA, SARIMA, and Prophet models.

Analytical Mindset:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of presenting findings and influencing business strategy.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or coursework in machine learning and data analysis.

Package:

• Salary range €80,000 - €100,000
• 30 Annual leave days
