Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team and manage the centralised relationship with MediaMarkt in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management within the consumer electronics or retail industry, with a strong focus on driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales and maximize revenue within Media Markt
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Media Markt, including buyers, category managers, and store managers.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop tailored solutions and promotions to meet the needs of Media Markt and its end consumers
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and address potential challenges
Negotiate pricing, promotional agreements, and terms of sale to ensure alignment with company objectives
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights to senior management
Requirements:
Experience in sales and account management, preferably within the consumer electronics or retail industry
Proven track record of success in managing key retail accounts [ideally MSH] and driving revenue growth
Strong understanding of the German retail market, particularly within the consumer electronics sector
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
